TRY TREND TURBAN

Having a bad hair day? Or are you tired of wearing your hair down and would love to try out something stylish, vibrant and adventurous? Try the turban trend; a fashionable and refreshing way to amp your look. It's borrowed from the 20s and 40s and has since evolved. There are several ways of tying a turban. You are free to rock it anyhow; in a knot, wrapped around a number of times, have it braided or you can make a pretty girlie bow with it. Always keep in mind the shape of your head as you decide on how to tie the turban. Depending on how you wrap it, you can give your wrap an ethnic, bohemian, tribal or haute vibe. Check out how some of our local fashionistas have pulled the trend.

Blogger This Is Ess used the turban trend to add texture to her ensemble. Her turban appears to be having a silky smooth feel. The trend also goes well with a low neck, bold lip color and african inspired necklaces.

Former BBA representative Huddah Monroe added a pop of color to her ensemble with a yellow turban. She made a pretty side bow with hers.

When it comes to tying a turban, they say 'the thicker it is the better' and  Fashion Blogger Miss Muhia knows that too well. She used the trend to spruce up her locks bun and to pull a hip funky look.
